The SMRT Payments SMS time clock system is a service for employees to manage their timekeeping via text message. By texting commands such as "IN," "OUT," and "STATUS," users can record their work hours and receive automated responses confirming these actions. Message frequency is dependent on user activity, but will generally consist of a few messages per workday. This service is designed to provide a convenient and efficient way to track time, and no marketing content will be sent.
To get help at any time, text "HELP" to our number. You will receive a brief message with instructions on how to use the system. For additional support, you can contact our technical team at [email protected] or call us at 888.810.SMRT (7678) during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST). This SMS system operates under the legitimate business interest of accurate employee timekeeping and payroll management. Employee participation is voluntary, and alternative timekeeping methods are available upon request.

All timekeeping data is stored securely in our encrypted PostgreSQL database with restricted access limited to authorized payroll personnel. Data is retained only as long as required by employment law and company policy.
You have the absolute right to discontinue SMS services at any time through any of these methods:
Important: Opting out will disable SMS timekeeping but does not affect your employment. Alternative timekeeping methods will be provided immediately upon opt-out.

This service is compatible with major US carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and other participating networks. Message delivery may vary based on network conditions and carrier-specific policies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
